CS-13126/DEF (MILITARY PORTABLE ANTENNA)
Military portable wide-band HF antenna covering 2–30 MHz with 360° omnidirectional coverage. Vertical polarization, 50 Ω impedance, up to 150 W PEP, no ATU required. Designed for tactical, mobile and emergency field operations.
Rugged wide-band HF antenna (2–30 MHz) designed for tactical, field and mobile communications. Vertical polarization with omnidirectional (360°) coverage, 50 Ω impedance, up to 150 W PEP, and no antenna tuner required — ideal for fast-deployment military and defense applications.
The CS-13126/DEF Military Portable HF Antenna from COMSYSTEMS is engineered for reliable, wideband HF communications under demanding field conditions. Covering the full 2–30 MHz HF spectrum, this vertical antenna delivers omnidirectional (360°) radiation and vertically polarized signals — making it an excellent choice for tactical, portable, man-portable or vehicular installations that require dependable long-range HF communication without directional alignment.
Constructed from aluminum and stainless steel with a powder-paint finish, the antenna assembly is robust yet portable. The compact matching box measures 145 × 50 × 95 mm and weighs approximately 1.8 kg, and includes a 50 Ω matching transformer and 7 m Kevlar-core, silver-plated copper coaxial cable — ensuring a balanced and durable connection. The unit is designed for rapid deployment: fixing options include Velcro or stainless steel bands.
Electrically, it operates over 2–30 MHz with 50 Ω impedance and delivers up to 150 W PEP. The antenna achieves a standing-wave ratio (SWR) < 2.5 across the entire band, eliminating the need for an external antenna tuner (ATU). With vertical polarization and full horizontal coverage, it supports stable NVIS (Near Vertical Incidence Skywave) or long-distance HF communications. Additional features include integrated lightning protection and DC-grounding for safety and reliability.
Built to perform in harsh environments, the CS-13126/DEF remains operational in extreme temperatures from –35 °C to +80 °C. Whether deployed in expeditionary operations, mobile tactical units or emergency communications setups, this antenna delivers broad-band HF performance, reliability and rugged portability — making it a versatile asset for military, defense and field-communications users.
