The Laird / Antenex B1443S is a 49 inch long, Chrome, base loaded mobile VHF whip antenna with NMO base and spring. This antenna does require a metal ground plane. It is omnidirectional and offers 3 dBi gain and accepts up to 100-200 watts max power and operates in the 144-174 MHz range.
